Ben Argenta Kress (He/Him/His) is a muliti-medium artist primarily interested in who we are and who we can be, both together and alone. Informed by his background in psychology and sociology, these musings have been central to Ben’s work as a costume designer, visual artist, and manager. Paired with a passion for sustainability and environmentally-conscious design, Ben's work is often exploratory and experimental in both material and technique. Based in Chicago, Ben previously found an artistic and professional home in Baltimore, MD, where he worked at area theaters including Baltimore Center Stage, Everyman Theatre, and Rep Stage. He is currently in his final quarter of Northwestern University's MFA in Stage Design Program and previously earned a bachelor's degree in Theater and Psychology from Kenyon College (2014).
